A large crowd of advocates, many wearing purple Under 3 DC shirts, gather on the steps of the John A. Wilson Building. The group holds various signs including "Teachers Lives Matter," "Stop Cuts to Early Childhood Education," and "Investing in us is investing in our future." This image represents a rally pushing for better funding and support for early childhood education.

Connect with Organizers

Under 3 DC hosts briefings and events throughout the year to keep the District’s early learning community informed and engaged in our movement’s work. Our members go out into the communities to meet with DC councilmembers, testify at education and legislative hearings, and rally together to push policymakers closer to achieving our goal of an equitable early education system for all DC children. If you’re interested in joining, contact one of our staff members.
